This week, the children in Oak Class delved into the mysteries of Stonehenge. They explored the many theories about why it was built – whether as a giant calendar linked to astronomy, a place of healing, or a site for important ceremonies – and debated which explanations they found most convincing. It’s a bumper edition of the roundup this week! We held our Spring Concert on Tuesday- it was just magical to hear all of the children performing in the beautiful Swainswick church. Today, the sun was shining as we walked across the valley to Woolley. During our Easter service, we sang, listened to prayers and poems and heard from Reverend Cath, who shared an Easter reflection with us. It was lovely to spend time all together reflecting on the new life that Easter brings.

The children had a fantastic time racing their battery‑operated cars on a playground racetrack, complete with cones, a start and finish line, and plenty of chequered flags. Year 6 leaders kept the excitement high as our comperes for the day, sounding very professional with the PA system.
