Meet Our Team
I am passionate about teaching and having taught for 18 years I consider it a privilege. I have taught in a variety of schools in South London, Shropshire, Vancouver, Bristol and now in Bath where I am proud to be the head teacher of Swainswick Church of England Primary School.
Outside of school, other than my wonderful family, my other passions are music and cycling. I can often loose hours searching for a new tune or playing my guitar. With regards to cycling, no matter how fast the world spins, I must always try and fit in time to ride my bike. If you see me at school, please check that I’m cycling to work ….and if I’m not then feel free to give me a telling off!
SENCO and Apple Class Teacher (Fridays)
Miss Wills is a class teacher and SENCo and can be contacted via the school office.
I am the Early Years and Year 1 teacher in Apple Class. I first visited Swainswick School 16 years ago… as a prospective parent for my eldest child and have been here ever since!
As an experienced Early Years Teacher I spend a lot of my time planning playful, engaging learning experiences…. and it gives me real joy when I see the children immersed in their learning.
When I’m at home I enjoy singing and pottering in my garden, and would love to do a 5K fun run this year!
I am the proud teacher of Hazel Class. I have been teaching for 5 years and I’m committed to supporting my class and everyone at Swainswick Primary. I like to plan exciting topics to help children’s learning. I love teaching, reading, writing and Sudoku puzzles. My favourite books are the Harry Potter series. At home, I have 2 dogs and enjoys long walks through the woods or along Bath Sky Line.
I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dog in the countryside. I usually do a park run on a Saturday and I attend Yoga and Pilates classes. For the last three years I have run the local Brownie pack and had many adventures!
