Weekly Roundup
What a great week! The weather has been warm and we've even had some sunny days! Our value for the term is ‘Courage’, and this week we learnt about the 6 types of everyday courage: moral, social, emotional, intellectual, creative and physical. We discussed how we show these types of courage without even realising it. Fun in Apple Class
What a wonderful week in Apple! Our class book this week is 'Shh, we have a plan' by Chris Houghton, and year 1 and 2 have worked hard to design a more effective way to catch a bird and written super instructions on how to make their design. Exploring the Shang dynasty in Hazel class
This week in Hazel Class, we’ve launched into our brand-new topic on the Shang Dynasty — and what a fantastic start we’ve had! We got creative by making our very own ‘oracle’ shells and experimented with writing Chinese symbols, just like people did thousands of years ago. The classroom was full of excitement! In Maths, we’re continuing our fractions journey and the class are absolutely smashing it! Today we explored fractions that are ‘more than 1’ — stretching our brains an
