Hockey, SATs and David Attenborough's 100th birthday!
This week, our Year 6 children completed their SATs with splendid focus and determination. We could not be more proud of them. All the children brought in special cuddly toys for good luck, which added a lovely touch of comfort and fun to the week. Little Solsbury Hill
Last week, Oak Class enjoyed an excellent outdoor learning experience to the Iron Age hillfort on Little Solsbury Hill, expertly led by Mr Rouse. Before leaving school, the children decorated their faces and arms with Celtic-inspired patterns using face paint. With many dressed in tunics, the class looked every bit like a tribe ready for exploration. At the top, the children used maps to navigate, locating north and identifying local landmarks such as St Mark’s School and eve

Football Tournament Win!
The Swainswick football team enjoyed a match against Batheaston Primary School this week. Both teams were well matched, making it an exciting and evenly balanced game from start to finish. The Swainswick players attacked with confidence and creativity, keeping the game moving well, while the defenders stayed calm and focused, marking closely and working hard to keep things steady at the back. What made the game especially memorable was the team spirit. There were smiles, supp
