Weekly Roundup
What fantastic weather we have had this week! The hills have been alive with the sound of music as each class has been busily preparing for the Spring Concert. The children can't wait to share their performances with you. Our value for the term is ‘Courage’. This week in assembly we focused on creative courage, imagining what could be and preparing to take risks. We linked this to the Spring Concert and the courage everyone is showing by performing in the church in front of

Science week in Apple
For Science Week, Apple have been focusing on the topic 'Plants'. We have had great fun exploring what plants need to grow, investigating what is inside a seed/bulb, dissecting a flower, and thinking how plants have adapted to survive in different environments. On Friday, the children worked hard to explore 3-D shapes. Reception children have also continued to have fun in maths and drawing club, based on our book 'Shh, we have a plan', by making their own bird nests.

Cake and books!
It has been the perfect day for cakes and for choosing a new book. Thank you to everyone who donated books, joined in, shared their favourite reads, and discovered new stories to love. And a big well done to everyone involved in organising the book swap shop and baking delicious items for the cake sale. It was a resounding success! Some lovely comments overheard: "What a fantastic idea!" "This is like looking back at my childhood!" (From a year six child absolutely engaged
