What an unusual weather week it's been! From heat to storms, it's been a week like no other. Thank you all for your support with keeping cool in school- sunhats, water bottles and suncream have made a big difference.


We've been enjoying playtimes and lunchtimes in the shade, quiet games and activities, cooling foot-spas and even the odd wet paper towel as a headdress! To see some pictures, click here.


Today we have received lots of bottles for the summer fair, and it has been great for the children to enjoy wearing beach clothes today.


Calendar dates:


Saturday 27th June - Summer fair at Swainswick School from 11am

Tuesday 30th June- Oak class performance- ‘Pirates of the Currybean’, 6-7.30pm @ Swainswick outdoor theatre (more information to follow)

Wednesday 1st July - Lifeskills for Year 6- rearranged. Please note early registration for Y6 pupils of 8.20am.

Monday 6th July- Oak class performance back up date (in case of bad weather on Tuesday 30th June)

Wednesday 8th – Friday 10th July 2026 – PGL Liddington for years 5 and 6.

Wednesday 15th (am) and Thursday 16th (pm) July- Hazel class performance- 'The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse' @Swainswick – more information to follow

Monday 20th July -Leaver’s Service at Swainswick Church (TBC, with more information to follow)

Tuesday 21st July - Please come in after school for our 'Open Classrooms' to see children's work and celebrate their learning
