Hindu symbols and science wonders in Oak

This week, Oak Class began our new RE topic on Hinduism.  The children did a fantastic job exploring important symbols and uncovering their meanings.  They showed great curiosity and respect as we started looking at the rich traditions and beliefs of this faith.

In science, we had great fun investigating our amazing eyes.  To see how our sight works, we used light and dark spaces around the playground and classroom.  The children used a mirror to watch their pupils open and close as the light changed.  It was an absolute “wow” moment.
