It has been another wonderful week at Swainswick Church School, filled with exciting learning opportunities. From tag rugby and autumn poetry to the many fantastic activities taking place across the school, it has been a pleasure to see our children engaging so enthusiastically in their learning.

Following our Values Assembly on Wednesday, which focused on Harvest, charity and supporting those less fortunate than ourselves, we have been delighted by the generous donations received for the St Saviour's Food Larder. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed. There is still time to donate if you would like to support this worthwhile cause.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our wonderful parents who gave their time to plant flowers and bulbs around the school grounds. Their efforts have helped to enhance our environment and will bring a welcome splash of colour for months to come (see photos).

Over the past few weeks, we have been delighted to welcome a number of prospective families for tours of our school, with more visits planned next week. These tours provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase all that makes Swainswick Church School such a special place to learn and grow. Please see the attached information about our Open Days and bespoke tours, and do share it with family, friends and anyone who may be considering school places for September 2027.

Let Your Light Shine (Matthew 5:16) continues to be evident in the kindness, generosity and enthusiasm shown by our children and wider school community every day. Thank you for your continued support.

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
