This week has been a fun week. In reception the children had fun making stick puppets and acting out the story The Three Little Pigs. They continued to do activities around the theme of the rainforest. The children did a fantastic job at creating a home for animals using the bricks. In Maths they have been learning to recognise and find the value of numbers up to 5. They did an amazing job of collecting different amounts of objects and matching them to the correct numeral.

We have all had fun developing our throwing and catching skills in PE.

Year 1 and 2 have been creating incredible fact files about Orangutans. They learnt about the features of information

texts and used these to create their own fact files. In maths we have been practising our taking away skills and they did and amazing job at solving missing number problems. We continued to learn about Judaism and did some beautiful detailed pictures of a Synagogue and what you might find inside a Synagogue.

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
