Hazel Class updates

Hazel Class have had a brilliant start to the term!

So far, we have:

• Watched the short animation The Present and used it to help create our Hazel Class Charter.

• Started reading our new English text, Leon and the Place Between.

• Been learning about place value within 10,000 in Maths.

• Practised our joined handwriting and the spelling patterns for the long /a/ sound (eigh, ai, ay, a-e, and ei).

• 
  

We have also been learning our new classroom routines and expectations and settling into life in Hazel Class.

All of the children have worked incredibly hard and have shown great perseverance, a positive mindset and excellent teamwork. They have demonstrated our Hazel Class values by trying their best, supporting one another and never giving up when learning feels challenging.

We are very proud of them all and are looking forward to another fantastic week of learning.
