Hazel Class have been working extremely hard on their Geography learning over the past few weeks, and Thursday was no exception. We have been exploring the polar regions – the Arctic and the Antarctic – learning about the animals that live there and the unique environments they call home. Why not ask your child if they can tell you what “tundra” means?

In Maths, Hazel Class have all successfully logged on to TT Rock Stars and have begun practising their times tables. We’re looking forward to seeing their speed and confidence grow as they continue to practise.

In Art, we have so far explored the work of Charles Fazzino and Leonid Afremov. This Friday, we will be turning our attention to city landscapes, experimenting with different mediums as we try to replicate striking cityscape photographs.

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
