In Oak Class we have been exploring sound and starting to discover how it travels.  A highlight of our week was when our “Lead Scientist” used a set of tuning forks to introduce the science behind sound waves.  The class was captivated with an experiment that involved dipping a vibrating tuning fork into a bowl of water. As soon as the tuning fork touched the surface, it created ripples that danced across the water. This demonstration helped the children visualize how sound waves can travel.

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
