A message from Mrs Simmons:
This week, Hazel class have put on 3 fantastic performances of 'Eddie and the Penguin'. The children performed to the rest of the school on Monday morning, and parents and families Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. The children did a wonderful job - I'm sure we're all still singing some of the catchy tunes we heard during the performances! Well done to all the penguins, polar bears, singers, car drivers, DJ's, narrators, builders and the Prime Minister- everyone was fabulous! Thank you to families for supporting with learning lines and costumes and who were brilliant audiences, thank you to parent helpers who supported with prop making and finally, thank you to Miss Hitchcock who supported the children to put on such a brilliant show.
When we spoke to the children after, Bea said, "It was super fun and everyone tried their best. I can't wait for the performance next year."
Oliver said, "I was really excited. The actions were hard to nail but the songs were catchy."
Eda shared, "It was inspiring with a good message about looking after the planet. Hopefully was can keep the ice in the Antarctic from going drip-drop like in Eddie's song!"
