Another wonderful week in Swainswick, despite the chilly mornings! Each class has had lots of fun and produced some amazing work. Well done to everyone for all of your hard work this week.

Preparations for the Spring concert have been ramping up and we have been practising the songs for the Easter Service. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a beautiful day in spring for our walk across the valley.

Please remember that next Thursday (Thursday 2nd April) will be the last day of Term 4, as Friday 3rd is Good Friday. School will be closed on Friday 3rd of April. We will look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 5 on Monday 20th April.

In other news:

Governor Vacancies:  Currently, we are looking to recruit three more volunteers to join our Trust Local Committee (TLC). TLC members work closely with the school leaders to help ensure that the school provides the best possible education for all pupils. They do not typically get involved in the day-to-day running of the school, but play a vital strategic role. TLC members come from a range of backgrounds and bring a variety of skills and experiences to the role. This helps ensure that decisions are well informed and made in the best interests of the pupils and the wider school community. If you are interested in becoming a Governor at Swainswick or finding out more about this role, please contact Christine Iles: christine.iles@swainswick.bwmat.org

After school club: After school club runs at Swainswick from Monday - Thursday, after school until 5.30pm for £12.50 per pupil, per session. Children can enjoy the school grounds and have fun building, creating and playing with their friends. There are often spaces available so if your child would like to attend after school club, please book on the Arbor app.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
