Continuing with our exploration of sound, Oak Class used rubber bands to change the pitch. The children created their own "string" instruments using rulers and rubber bands, experimenting with different tensions and lengths to see how it affected the sound. We also enjoyed a splendid cello performance.  The sound created was simply beautiful and it was amazing to see such impressive musical talent in our classroom.

On another note, what fun we had last week in the rain.  The children are very skilled at creating an adventure, no matter the weather!

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
