Today, we walked across the valley to Woolley Church for our Easter service. It was wonderful to walk to the church as a big group, and lovely that so many parents and carers were able to join us. Thank you. At the Church, Mrs Simmons spoke about new beginnings and how daffodils can be a symbol of new beginnings. We then heard from children in Hazel class who read their own poems, Apple class who gave a wonderful rendition of 'Spring Chicken' (complete with actions and chicken hats!) and Oak class who shared prayers they had written. All of the children read and sang beautifully. Reverend Cath shared a message about hollow eggs representing the tomb, and also talked about the symbolism of hot cross buns. We sang a couple of egg-citing Easter songs, and it was a lovely time all together. Well done everyone!

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
