Red Kites - Celebrating Kindness, Reading and Rugby!
This week, we wished Miss Hitchcock lots of luck as she prepared to welcome her new baby. The children created beautiful cards filled with pictures of babies, teddies and warm wishes. Thank you to everyone for the thoughtful gifts; they meant a great deal to her.
There was great excitement in Red Kites and Oak Class when we opened four huge boxes and discovered some extra-large beanbags for our classroom and library. The children couldn't wait to try them out, and they have already become a favourite spot for getting comfortable with a good book!
What a splendid day we had at the Tag Rugby Tournament! We were incredibly proud to be announced as the winners of the Sportsmanship Trophy, recognising the fantastic teamwork, respect, determination and encouragement shown by our children throughout the day. Alongside some brilliant rugby skills, the children represented Swainswick wonderfully and should be very proud of their achievement.
