What a fantastic sports day! Well done to all of the children who showed fantastic sportsmanship and were amazing athletes! A win for Woolley this year- congratulations Woolley! Huge thanks to Mr Rouse for organising the events, the spectators who cheered us on so well (great parents race too!) and St Marks for hosting us. Click here to see pictures.

Our Christian value for the term is compassion. In celebration assembly this week, we talked about why it is important to be sincere when we show compassion. We watched an extract from the Pixar film 'Up' and discussed that although Russell wanted to help Carl at the start of the film, it was only because he wanted to earn the last badge he needed to be an Eagle scout, not because he really wanted to help Carl as a person. We then watched an extract from further on in the film where Russell and Carl wanted to help each other because they really cared, and the difference this made.

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
