DT in Apple

Apple class have focused on their DT project this week: moving Father's Day cards!

We started by evaluating existing cards, thinking about the positives and negatives of each design. We then investigated how to make something move in a card and explored levers and simple mechanical systems before making our own. (see the pictures below).

After that it was time for the big task of designing and making our own cards. We won't share the final products here yet, we don't want to give away any spoilers for the big day, but I think you will be amazed at the thought and effort the children have put into their designs!
