Engineering for an earthquake

Today, Hazel Class have been learning about earthquakes. We learnt what causes them and watched some videos. We decided to design a building to withstand the effects of an earthquake. We had a great time making models using toothpicks and marshmallows before testing them. We also practised our response to earthquake alarms. Well done Hazel Class!
