It’s been a great week and the sun has been shining!
Summer Fair
We are looking forward to the Summer Fair tomorrow, which will be held in the new location of the New Oriel Hall due to the rainy weather forecast. I am so sorry I won’t be able to join you all tomorrow due to a prior family commitment. I hope you all have a wonderful time. Huge thanks to everyone who has supported this event in any way, from donating gifts and prizes, volunteering your time or helping behind the scenes. Special thanks to Friends for all their hard work in organising the event. We really appreciate this support for Swainswick school from everyone.
Sports day winners
The anticipation was high at the end of sports day last week, and I am pleased to announce that the winning house was….. drumroll….. LARKHALL! Congratulations Larkhall. Click here to see a picture of the crescent team captains with the cup!
What's been happening in classes:
Apple:
I was lucky enough to visit Apple class bank and shop this week! B bought lots of things from the shop, and Roxana was great at visiting the bank to collect the right change. Click here to find out more about life in Apple class.
Hazel:
This week in Hazel Class we have been busily making props for our performance, led by Kelly! The children have worked very hard. Eda said, "It was tiring because I had to paint lots of layers to cover up the cardboard!" Lachie said, "It was fun painting stuff and I am proud of the leaves I made for the tree." Click here to see a picture of the leaf props.
Oak:
It’s been a creative week in Oak class. Click here to find out more.
Hope you have a great weekend,
Best wishes,
Mrs Simmons
