And just like that, it’s half term! On Tuesday, we had a brilliant time at Woolley Church for our Harvest Festival service. The walk across the valley to and from the church was a great opportunity to be together, chat and enjoy our local environment. One parent commented how it felt like a lovely migration across the valley, watching the children play and talk as we went. At the Church, we were blown away by the children's contributions of singing, sharing harvest poems and prayers. We were kindly accompanied by George on the piano, and Reverend Cath spoke with us about the brilliant help our harvest donations will be to the St Saviour's food larder. We took time to reflect on what we are grateful for: family, friends, the world we live in and the opportunities we have. Huge thanks to everyone who helped, supported or joined us at this event - it was lovely to share this time together. Click here to see some pictures.
Thank you for all of your great feedback this morning at the gate. You shared some really helpful things for us to think about in the coming term, and it was great to hear what you think is going well. Some of the highlights included, “teachers are amazing”, “busy, exciting changes, outings, brilliant learning and hard work all round”, “great communication from school” and “welcoming, warm and wonderful!” Thank you so much for taking the time to share- we really appreciate it.
