Swainswick Grand Prix!

The children had a fantastic time racing their battery‑operated cars on a playground racetrack, complete with cones, a start and finish line, and plenty of chequered flags. Year 6 leaders kept the excitement high as our comperes for the day, sounding very professional with the PA system.

Apple Class kicked things off with their brilliant Whacky Races, followed by Oak Class and their speedy Grand Prix. Themed races added to the fun, including animal cars, tallest cars, and even a food‑themed race.

We wrapped up with an off‑road adventure on the side grass, where the children put their cars to the test. A wonderful afternoon full of creativity, laughter, and racing fun!
