Science in Oak

To celebrate British Science Week, Oak Class scientists experimented with different materials to see which ones dissolved in water to create solutions. The children had fun mixing, stirring and observing. In computing and using plasticine, the children crafted their favourite characters from books in celebration of World Book Day. They used stop motion animation to bring the characters alive with clever editing and humour. This week also saw the launch of a special lunchtime club! Young fashion designers gathered to transform ordinary boxes and packaging into fabulous "haute couture" fashion designs!

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
