Science experiments in Apple

Apple class have been having lots of fun with our new Science topic, 'Super Scientists'.

We started the week with Isaac Newton and explored his understanding of gravity. We investigated this using spinners and paperclips. We noticed that the heavier spinner would hit the ground first because it is heavier.

We then moved on to his work on light, focusing on what happens to light as it moves through a transparent object. We used a range of prisms to explore how light travelled through the prism. It was lots of fun!

Finally, we acted as scientists to test our reflexes!

What a brilliant week!

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
