Pirates and props...

Rehearsals for Pirates of the Curry Bean are in full swing in Oak Class, and the children have thrown themselves into the process with brilliant enthusiasm.  This week they’ve been focusing on character development – experimenting with movement, position on stage, comic timing and voice projection to bring their roles to life.

Next week, we’ll be in the creative scenery and props.  Cardboard, paint and plenty of imagination as we begin to build the stage.  A huge thank you to the parents who have already given their time to help construct some of the larger pieces.  Your support makes such a difference, and the children are so excited to see the production taking shape.
