Maths, kite flying and dragon bones in Hazel

In Maths, we’ve started an exciting new topic on mass and capacity. Today, the children had great fun estimating the weight of different fruits and discussing their ideas.

In History, we explored the social hierarchy of the Shang Dynasty and compared it to modern society. We also learned about the fascinating use of “dragon bones” in ancient medicine, which sparked lots of curiosity and discussion.

I’ve included some photos of our attempts to get our kites flying—hopefully you’ve had even more success at home! I’ve also heard that the herbs are growing well, which is wonderful news. Please do send in some photos for us to share and celebrate together. Wishing you a lovely, sunny weekend.
