Leavers assembly

This morning, the Year 6's (supported by Mrs Coleman) put on a wonderful leaver's service for us. Mission Impossible was complete! The children shared favourite memories, prayers, sang 'This Little Light of Mine', 'The Leaver's Song' and treated us to a performance from their upcoming musical 'Super Stan.' It was great to wave the children off as we sang the goodbye song, and see them proudly waving their secondary school banners outside the church. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special assembly.

It was wonderful to see videos and pictures of the children throughout their time at Swainswick: huge thanks to Hughie's mum for putting together the beautiful video, and to Laurie's dad for providing the projector and screen to show this lovely film. Thanks also to Revered Dave and Claire, who presented bibles to the children and shared a wonderful poem. Final thanks go to the team at Swainswick Church who facilitated us using this amazing space, and to Julie who kindly provided tea and cake for parents afterwards.
