Fantastic learning in Hazel

Welcome back, Hazel Class! We hope you all had a wonderful and refreshing half term—it’s been lovely to see everyone back, smiling and ready to learn.

This week we have jumped straight into our exciting new maths topic: decimals. The class has made a fantastic start, showing great enthusiasm and understanding. We are so impressed with how well the children have begun to understand this tricky concept already—what a brilliant effort. 

In DT and Science, we will be exploring the three Rs—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The children will be learning all about how we can take better care of our environment and make more sustainable choices.

As part of this, we will be working creatively towards designing and making a fantastic ‘moving’ recycling poster—we’re excited to see their ideas come to life!
