Hazel Class have had a really exciting and varied week!

  • Maths: Working on 2, 4, and 8 times tables with arrays is a great way to build visual understanding of multiplication. Comparing arrays helps them see patterns and relationships—like how doubling and halving link the tables.

  • DT: Learning to sew on a button and mastering the over stitch is such a useful life skill! It also develops fine motor skills and patience.

  • History: Cheddar Man and Skara Brae are fascinating topics. Cheddar Man gives insight into early humans in Britain, and Skara Brae shows how Neolithic communities lived—amazing for understanding daily life thousands of years ago

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
