Friends News - Twilight Walk

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to join us on the Twilight Walk before half term. And congratulations to all the winners of the hard-fought pumpkin-carving competition!

This term we have an exciting programme of events planned and hope you will be able to join us for as many of them as you can. More information will be coming out about these events shortly but please put the following dates in your diaries in the meantime:

Mon 20 Nov – Riverford veg cooking class (6pm – 8pm, Swainswick School; £10pp including recipes, supper and a glass of wine; bookings through the school office)

Thurs 30 Nov - Family Movie Night (6pm screening of Aardman’s Arthur Christmas at The Little Theatre Cinema; booking info to follow)

Sat 2 Dec – Swainswick Christmas Fair (11am to 2pm, New Oriel Hall)

Fri 8 Dec - Christmas wreath workshop (9.30-11.00, Swainswick Church; £10pp including all materials, hot drinks & mince pies, bookings via jess.watts1@gmail.com)

Thurs 14 Dec – Café Swainswick Christmas Market (9am to 11am, Swainswick Church; tea and cake plus mulled wine, Fair Trade gifts and homemade Christmas goodies)
